No - This is an entirely optional status useful when you ask your customers to confirm their bookings via SMS

This can be done whilst editing the customer, see Edit Customer
How do I add a Purchase Order Number to a booking?
Only bookings for commercial customers can have PO numbers added, double-check the customer has been marked as commercial.
Do I need to create a customer before opening the new Booking Slideout
No, you can enter the new customers details as you create the booking
I’ve imported my customers from Xero/Quickbooks - But no addresses have come across?
Two reasons:
- Tankly relies on vetted addresses so it can provide accurate navigation and route planning, typically invoicing systems allow free text addresses which are incompatible.
- There isn’t a 1:1 relationship between a Customer and an Address, rather the address is associated with the Booking, and inferred to a Customer
How do I see a preview of the email sent to the Customer?
It’s easiest to set yourself up a Customer in the system and simulate the booking flow. There will be no costs if you never Complete the Booking, or if you delete it.
